Rocket Padel opened its debut site in Bristol at the end of April 2023, and included a Changing Places Toilet – making it more accessible for those with complex needs.
Padel is the fastest growing sport in the world and is a cross between tennis and squash – played on a court a third of the size of a tennis court and traditionally as doubles.
The new facility is the UK’s largest indoor padel centre, with 14 panoramic courts and the only 2 single courts in the country.
Rocket Padel is a Swedish company who are very experienced in Padel in Scandinavia and look to open 15+ centres in the UK. They focus on the social, club feel with fantastic facilities, including:
- 14 panoramic courts
- Licensed bar/bistro area
- Fully equipped changing rooms including showers, lockers, hairdryers.
- Changing Places Toilets, installed by Astor Bannerman.
- Conference, meeting room.
- Pro shop
The entry level to padel is low so anyone can have ago and have a great time. To book a court at Rocket Padel you can download 2 apps, Matchi lets you book, pay and play. The second app is Padel Mate which allows you to find other players of similar ability to play. It will also show you all our activities that you can book on to like taster sessions, coaching and social events like ‘Padel & Pints’.
Astor Bannerman installed the Changing Places Toilet.

– Peninsular Toilet
– Shower
