This time next week on 9th June, Astor-Bannerman will be exhibiting at one of the largest events in the UK specifically for children and young adults with disabilities and special needs.
This free event, is being held at the Rivermead Leisure Complex in Reading and will see the Astor-Bannerman team demonstrating specialist bathing and disabled changing equipment to visitors. If you are an Occupational Therapist working with children and young adults with additional need or are looking for solutions to support a member of your family, this is the perfect opportunity to see what is out there in the assisted bathing and care market.
As well as seeing what’s new from Astor-Bannerman, you’ll have access to a wealth of information on equipment funding, bathing, transport, sensory products, legal advice and more. There are also free CPD workshops run by industry experts covering topics such as the recent changes to SEN and the Families and Children’s ACT and moving and handling.
As a key player in the assisted bathing market, Astor-Bannerman have attended this event for many years and this will be a great opportunity for you to meet your specialist product advisor, see equipment in action and learn more about what we can offer you, including a whole range of free services.
In addition to all this, there will be the ‘Mobiloo’ mobile Changing Places unit at the event for which Astor-Bannerman proudly provided the Nivano changing bench allowing events such as this to be fully accessible and have the changing, hoisting and toileting facilities which are so desperately needed across the country.
