What are the Government guidelines for hygiene rooms and accessible toilets in schools?

Drawing on guidelines from the Department of Education’s publications, BB103 and BB104, Nick will share the accessible toilet and hygiene room requirements for both mainstream schools and SEND and alternative provision, highlighting the equipment needed and design considerations.
Nick will be joined by Jane Simpson (Access Consultant), Karen Hoe OBE (SEN Trainer, Changing Places National Development Manager at MDUK, and a parent of a child with complex needs), and Shelley Simmonds FRSA (parent carer and a disability rights & rare disease advocate).
There will be time for questions at the end of the session.
