Astor-Bannerman remains fully open for business as usual and we intend to remain open as we are essential to supporting the care industry.
At Astor-Bannerman we have ensured we have stocks of finished goods so we have sock baths available for Care Homes on short lead time. We also have components to allow us to build and deliver all our product lines that are built to order. Our current production lead times are currently at our normal level. The Covid-19 crisis has hit large parts of the care industry, construction and the supply chain however we have ensured we can keep going.
Our installation, service and repair team are still fully functioning. We have a strict protocol that will be followed by our field engineers to ensure the customer safety and their own:
- Protective equipment/ clothing will be worn during any works:
- Face mask
- Gloves
- Paper boiler suit
- Shoe covers
- Use of hand sanitizer and regular handwashing before gloves are put on and at the end of any job.
- Daily monitoring and recording of temperature is being completed by each field service engineer. This ensures that individuals do not have a temperature and have not had a temperature during the preceding days. We are happy to share that record for your assigned engineer if required.
- Room disinfection can be completed with an anti-coronavirus misting or fogging at the end of the workscope if you wish it.
Further, we are happy to be flexible with times when our work is completed to minimise contact with you or your family members should you wish it and all product has an additional disinfection operation and then cling-wrapped before despatch.
