The Astor Comfort height adjustable bath has been carefully designed to maximise the internal space within the bath, allowing extra movement, plenty of space for internal supports, and offering a bariatric capacity. The Astor Comfort is a beautiful bath that will help take the bathing experience beyond routine – particularly with added optional features of the warm air spa, lights and Bluetooth sound systems. With an added Astor Neatfold Stretcher, it gives the ultimate 3-in-1 bathing, showering and changing solution.

The Astor Comfort height adjustable bath is beautifully designed to give ample bathing space and bariatric lifting capacity to cater for the extra support requirements that a bather with a disability may have. The Astor Comfort has been sculptured to maximise internal space, giving the bather plenty of room to move about, with an extra four inches of internal width. This elegant and ergonomically designed bath will accommodate all types of Astor Bannerman mobile hoists and ceiling hoists, internal supports and cushions.
If using in conjunction with a hoist, the unique patented Astor Bannerman Neatfold drying and changing stretcher can be added to the Astor Comfort bath. This enables additional client care to be carried out without unnecessary room to room transfer, whilst the heat from the bath below will keep the client comfortable and warm. The double bath tub thickness with integrated insulation layer helps maintain water temperature and with an internal length of 1770 mm, the bath can be shortened for individual clients using an optional footboard which can be slotted securely into 3 different positions.
Premium, chrome brass grab handles can also be added if required to assist with user comfort. As with most Astor Bannerman assisted baths, a warm air spa can be added which gives a relaxing massaging effect along with an aromatherapy system if desired. Colour changing LED lights and an integrated Bluetooth speaker system can also be incorporated to help stimulate the senses giving the ultimate bathing experience. You can now even purchase this popular Astor Comfort as a standard fixed height bath in a choice of 2 different heights of either 650 mm or 750 mm.
All baths by Astor Bannerman come with a 3-year warranty* for complete peace of mind, and a wide range of thermostatic mixer tap options including Kiwa KUKReg4 approved gantry shower if required. Plumbing:
Hot and cold ball type isolation valves (22mm) need to be supplied; maximum height of 300mm from
the floor. a waste suitable for connection to a 50mm O.D. outlet also needs to be supplied, maximum
height of 80mm from the floor.
Thermostatic taps require a minimum water pressure of 1 bar (14.5psi) and maximum of 10 bar
(145psi).

1.5 Kw (13A) protected fused spur terminating in a waterproof flex outlet with a 20 mm cable gland
