Naidex 2011
From the 5th to 6th April, we were proud to launch our newest additions to the Astor-Bannerman product family at Naidex 2011.
Many healthcare professionals and members of the public attended the 3 day event and we were pleased to welcome many to our stand and demonstrate our new and exciting products.
There was a particularly positive response to the new Syncra bath with detachable seat and transfer trolley which has been in careful development for the last 3 years.
There was also a huge amount of interest in the new Vanna bath with powered side opening door and removable cushions and supports, along with the new Kiva bath which offers a more comfortable bathing experience with a longer tub.
Of course we also demonstrated some of our existing products, such as our A2B Overhead Hoist, Carlo Mobile Hoist, Height-adjustable Washbasin and Multicare Mobile Shower Trolley.

NEW... Battery Nivano CTB
Astor-Bannerman are proud to announce the launch of the latest addition to the Nivano product range
The all new battery operated Nivano CTB height adjustable changing table works on a rechargeable battery system and offers all the options and features of the mains powered Nivano CTE, but without the added cost of paying a subcontractor to bring mains power into a bathroom or changing area.
The Nivano CTB works from an external waterproof battery which slips effortlessly into the dock next to the changing table. A fully charged battery will give you 40+ fully loaded lifts at the maximum weight capacity of 20 stone. This means a fully charged battery will last a very long time under normal working conditions.
As part of the CTE package an external charging station is included in the price, which can be mounted in any convenient location. Once the battery runs down, it is simply then a case of slipping the empty battery out of its dock and into the external charging station. Once fully charged, the battery can then be slipped back into the battery dock and is ready for the next time the Nivano CTB is required.
Additional batteries are also available to purchase to allow you the freedom of have one charging whilst using the other.
